Outage Safety Tips

• Stay Clear of Downed Lines: Always assume a downed power line is energized. Stay at least 35 feet away and call us immediately.
• Generator Safety: Never run a generator inside a home or garage. Ensure it is properly “air-gapped” to prevent backfeeding into the grid.
• Food Preservation: Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed. A full freezer can keep food frozen for up to 48 hours if unopened.
• Check Your Breakers: Before reporting, check your home’s main breaker panel to ensure the issue isn’t a tripped circuit.
